The time I went to the fabric store that was bigger than any I ever imagined

At one point this week my 1G memory card on my camera was full so I had to go through and delete pictures. I didn't know it was possible to fill a 1G memory card. It is.

Between wedding preparation, wedding attending, family time, Independence Day celebrations, beach time, eating and sleep, we have had one busy and wonderful vacation.  I need to find my camera cord so I can actually upload the pictures and show you some especially of my daughter's handmade dress and accessories for both of us!

If you follow me on Twitter, you know that at one point during the week my mother in law and I were sent off to shop at a fabric warehouse sans children and sans husbands can you hear the evil mischievous laugh?!  Oh. My. Word.  I don't want to say it was heaven because that is so materialistic pun intended, but I felt like a kid at Disneyland. Imagine this times about 20.

Row after row after row of fabric.  And it was GOOD fabric.  And it was fabric that somehow found its way into my cart and then my suitcase.  And soon it will find its way into my shop and maybe a few other locations that you will know about sooner rather than later.  I'm getting all excited just thinking about it!

In other news, yes I felt the earthquake yesterday, and yes I was in a condo on the beach, and yes I was scared, but only a little.

  1. Wow!! Can't wait to see the goods. My little curtain is so humble, but I think you will like it. :)
